Book Review: Palo Alto, by Malcolm Harris

I have been not keeping this blog up, but I want to post on here that I published a book review of Malcolm Harris’ Palo Alto for the American Planning Association’s Northern California Chapter. The review can be read here.

“Palo Alto is haunted”

It was a lot of fun to talk about the long history of planning and its relationship to capital accumulation in California, and doing it for the APA. If you enjoyed this book, I can also recommend Álvaro Sevilla-Buitrago’s Against the Commons and Alicia Puglionesi’s In Whose Ruins: Power, Possession, and the Landscapes of American Empire.
